# Viewing Stock Movements Every stock change is recorded as a movement, giving you a complete audit trail. ## Movement Types | Type | Description | |------|-------------| | **Receipt** | Stock received from a supplier (via advice note or manual) | | **Transfer** | Stock moved between locations | | **Adjustment** | Manual quantity correction | | **Sale** | Stock allocated to an invoice | | **Return** | Stock returned from a customer | ## Viewing Movement History 1. Go to **Inventory > Stock Movements** 2. You will see all movements across all products 3. Each entry shows: - Date and time - Product name - Movement type - From/to location - Quantity changed - Running balance - User who made the change ## Filtering Filter movements by: - Product - Location - Movement type - Date range ## Per-Product History You can also view movements for a specific product: 1. Go to **Assets > Products** 2. Open the product 3. Click the **Movements** tab This shows the complete history for that product across all locations.
