Connecting Your Bank
Link your bank account via Open Banking for automatic transaction sync
Connect your UK bank account to automatically import transactions. This uses Open Banking, a secure standard regulated by the FCA.
Two Open Banking providers
dynamik.app connects through TrueLayer or GoCardless Bank Account Data. Both are FCA-regulated account information providers. With GoCardless you pick your bank from a list first; TrueLayer shows its own bank picker after you click Connect.

How to Connect
- 1 Go to Accounts → Banking → Bank Accounts
- 2 Click Connect Bank
- 3 Choose your bank from the list (or from the provider's own picker)
- 4 You are redirected to your bank to log in and approve the connection
- 5 Back in dynamik.app, choose the accounts to connect — tick only the ones you want in your books
- 6 Click Connect selected. Transactions start importing straight away
Security
Open Banking is regulated by the FCA and uses bank-level security. Your bank credentials are never shared with us - you log in directly with your bank.
What Data is Accessed?
We CAN access
- Account name and balance
- The transaction history your bank makes available
We CANNOT
- Make payments from your account
- Change any account settings
- Access any account you did not tick
No Open Banking? Import a Statement
If your bank is not covered, or you only need historic transactions, Accounts → Banking → Import takes a CSV statement export and puts the transactions in the same place — ready to match and reconcile.
