Inviting Your Team

Everyone who works in your company on dynamik.app has their own login and a role that decides what they can see and do. You add them from Company Settings → Team.

Tip

The Team page needs the Manage team settings permission. Owners have it; other roles get it under Company Settings → Roles.

Sending an Invitation

  1. Click Invite Team Member
  2. Enter their Email Address
  3. Choose a Role
  4. Click Send Invite

What happens next depends on whether that email already has a dynamik.app account:

  • They already have an account — they are added to your company straight away and receive an email, You've been added to … on dynamik.app, with a Go to Dashboard button. Nothing to accept.
  • They do not have an account yet — they receive You've been invited to join … on dynamik.app with an Accept Invitation button. The link takes them to a page where they create an account with that email (or log in if they made one in the meantime); the moment they do, they are in your team. There is nothing for them to pay.

An invitation is valid for 7 days. Pending ones are listed under Pending invitations with their expiry date; the row menu offers Resend (a fresh link — the old one stops working) and Cancel Invitation. Inviting the same address again replaces the earlier invitation.

Choosing the Role

Every company starts with seven roles, and you can add your own under Roles:

Role Workspace they land in
Owner, Admin, Manager, Project Manager, Accountant Manager — the full application
Engineer, Viewer, any custom role Engineer — jobs, diary, van stock

The Owner role cannot be given through the invite form. Admin has everything except billing; Viewer has read-only access everywhere. Pick the role by where the person should land: an engineer given Manager sees the whole office, an office member given Viewer sees only the engineer diary.

Changing or Removing a Member

The row menu on a team member offers Change Role and Remove. Removing someone takes away their access to this company only — their account and any other companies they belong to are untouched, and they can be invited back later. The company owner cannot be removed or have their role changed.

Note

If an invitee opens the link while logged in with a different email, the page says Email Mismatch and offers to log out and sign in or register with the invited address. The invitation is only consumed by the email it was sent to.
